General construction works are like building and maintaining roads, houses, workplaces and physical infrastructure. This work includes many inherently hazardous tasks and conditions such as work at height, excavations, noise, dust, power tools and equipment, confined spaces, and electricity.

We at Al Baloushi Group, Fabricate and erect Tanks of various sizes and capacities as per API-650 at workshop as well as site. We along with our auxiliary units have equipments and skilled hands to accomplish the task with best quality.

Tanks to be manufactured by us are also engineered by us. However, this is optional. Clients are at liberty to opt for our Engineering service or not.

We have full-fledged QA/QC Engineers. Before the actual start of production our QA/QC department prepares quality Assurance plan and the same is got approved by clients.
Welding is the main focus of steel fabrication. We have highly skilled welders qualified under SMAW, GTAW, GMAW & SAW for both carbon steel as well as stainless steel.

Welding process used are SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW both in Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel. All these weldments are done under the guidance of a certified welding inspector.
During fabrication and erection our Q/C engineers carry out stage wise inspection as per Quality Assurance Plan and the same is documented.

Where inspection/witnessing is required by clients/third party our QC department Raises Request for Inspectors (RFI) well in advance and the same is arranged accordingly.

Our site engineers keep check on the activities including schedule as well as Quality of Job. They are well trained to manage the Sites.

In addition to this our Managerial staff including head of Mechanical division visits the sites to oversee the activities as well as interact with representatives of clients.

We also have specialized in fabrication and erection of piping both at shop floor as well as at site. Piping includes all equipments and items related to piping such as valves, flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators etc.

We have no limitations to size of pipes. It may start from smallest to any big size including useful as well as exhaust gas ducts, both with flanged ends as well as butt welded ends.

It is done in the same way as in case of Tanks as per clause 4.312. In addition to this individual spools of pipes are tested for leak test before assembly.

We also have skills to carry out fabrication and erection of pressure vessels with various diameters, heights, wall thickness, types of dished ends and internal pressures. The material used is both carbon steel as well as stainless steel both in various grades.

Major uses of structural steel include office and industrial buildings; commercial buildings, including retail stores, restaurants, and service stations; apartment buildings, hotels, and motels, warehouses; and highways, bridges, tunnels, and other transportation facilities.

Our erection team is well skilled to carry out erection of prefabricated structures.

They are well conversant in erecting the structure at correct elevations and orientation with right verticality.

At present civil work that we carry out is related to and supporting our fabrication work including erection activities.

However, we have plans to enter into construction of both steel as well as RCC buildings in near future. Enquiries for the same are solicited.

Control engineering plays an important role in industrial automation.
The combination of electrical and mechanical systems is known as electromechanical systems and has widespread adoption. Examples include automated manufacturing systems, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
